Art Excursion

Our Experience- Year 8 Art Excursion to the Reserve Park

On the 1st of May, 2018 we, the year 8’s, had an amazing opportunity to go to the park, to get inspiration for our final Australian landscape painting this term. We had a relaxing, enjoyable and pleasurable time sketching trees, bushes, rocks, hills and other life forms that caught our eyes.

We were provided with many different mediums including willow charcoal, water colours paints and graphite pencils. This was a great chance for us to not only enjoy the presence of nature, but also to develop our sketching skills and utilise our inner self and imagination.

Overall, it was a great experience that filled our hearts with passion for painting Australian water colour landscapes. We hope to be presented with the same opportunity again.
